Two two-and-a-half hour workshops: chose either to learn more about the HoloLens or storytelling.

Hololens Workshop

VPRO Medialab believes in AR and certainly also in the HoloLens. The HoloLens is an extraordinary Virtual Reality goggle: you see the physical world and the HoloLens adds a layer of VR to it. VPRO Medialab made its first serious HoloLens production for Dutch Desing Week 2016, together with art director Sander Veenhof, about The Tree Trunk Chair, a design by Maarten Baas. This workshop by Sander Veenhof and Frank Bosma (VPRO Digitaal), lasting over two hours, teaches you all about the creative and technical possibilities of the HoloLens.

What is possibly the most compelling angle? What is the best platform to create a gripping narrative for your audience? If you are curious to learn about these questions, this workshop is for you. VPRO’s experienced television maker Kees Brouwer will share his experiences and interactively explore with the participants the pros and cons of different formats.
