Bliksem & Donderdag ‘a Thursday enlightening event’ gaat om inspiratie, interactie, connectie en acceleratie. Op dit nieuwe podium krijgen makers, denkers, doeners en dromers de kans hun ideeën te delen, testen en versnellen. VPRO Medialab nam het initiatief en nodigde TU/e, Baltan Laboratories en High Tech Campus uit om samen te werken aan dit nieuwe platform.

Gebaseerd op de ‘boterhamsessies’ van Philips op het Natlab in de jaren ’60, ontmoeten wetenschappers, kunstenaars, studenten en entrepreneurs uit verschillende disciplines elkaar en sparren informeel over innovatie, producten en ideeën. Een aantal pitchers legt zijn of haar dilemma’s die hij pf zij tegenkomt bij de ontwikkeling van hun product of concept voor aan het publiek. Met advies, interessante connecties en eigen ervaringen helpt het publiek de pitchers hun vraagstuk op te lossen. Ook zijn er telkens twee deskundigen aanwezig die een reactie geven op elke pitch.

Bliksem & donderdag, a Thursday enlightning event, is all about inspiration, interaction, connection and acceleration! On this new platform makers, thinkers, doers and dreamers get the opportunity to share, test and accelerate their ideas. Together with TU/e, Baltsan Laboratories and High Tech Campus, VPRO Medialab launched this new platform.

Based on the Philips 'boterhamsessies' in Natlab in the sixties, scientists, artist, students and entrepeneurs with different backgrounds meet and talk about innovation, ideas and concepts. A number of pitchers bring short presentations about dilemma’s they encounter in development, the creative process or technical diffulties. There will be no passive audience! Everyone can respond and contribute and help the pitchers by finding them a match, own experiences and advice.
