Amsterdam airport Schiphol started an experiment in 2014 in which 'smart' cameras map out suspicious behaviour of visitors, discovered newspaper NRC.next.

The camera can detect, for example, when people spend a suspiciously long time in the toilet, when groups suddenly split up and when travellers display nervous tendencies. The camera monitors not only movement and behaviour, but also uses infrared or heat meters. As such, they can detect whether someone displays the (apparently) suspicious combination of a cold nose and an increased heartbeat. So it’s bad news for people with delicate stomachs and a fear of flying.
