A group of international Erasmus Mundus students visited Backlight in Hilversum to see how changing views on globalisation have been visualised in our documentaries in the past ten years.

'What distinguishes Backlight from current affairs programs is that we analyse trends and new ideas, which is why we call ourselves a future affairs programme. We want to give new perspectives on urgent questions,' says Commissioning Editor Henneke Hagen. 'Globalisation is the underlying focus of Backlight. That is why we like to take you on a short trip through our archives.'

The students of the Erasmus Mundus Master program Journalism, Media and Globalisation from the University of Amsterdam discussed some clips showing the changing face of globalisation.
